Month Six!

Every month with the little man gets more interesting and exciting. At six months, Jonah started scooting across the carpet. It happened so fast... one day he was kind of doing it, and a few days later he was practically mobile!

We were living my mom and dad, which was fun because they got to see Jonah every day and watch him grow and learn new things. We had just made the crazy cross-country trek from Tennessee (more on that later... it was a doozy), and Jordan was out of town every other week for training (not fun!). He was setting up lots of things for the new company and working hard.

I will have to look in his baby file for the exact stats, because I can't remember them. I know he was 18 pounds 1 ounce at his appointment, and he was in the 90th percentile for height. He had also started giving some really good belly laughs, and was really in the throes of teething (we were waiting for the bottom right one to break through).

His sleeping got super weird (because of said teething and a new room/environment), and for a span there I felt like we had a newborn again. Yikes. He would wake up around 11 or 12 after going to bed and then at 3 or 4 AM every night, followed by waking up at 6:30 in the morning. It was rough. Thankfully, it went away, and he is back to his 12 hour a night sleep schedule!
